School Colour Awards

Any child who represents Our Lady School as an excellent ambassador will gain a blue and gold badge called "School Colours". These badges will be awarded in assemblies and should be worn as part of their school uniform.

Parish

As a parish school we enjoy an especially close partnership with Our Lady Immaculate and St Andrew Church. Father Tom O'Brien is our parish priest and governor to the school. He is a frequent visitor to our school.

Every fifth Sunday of the month the school supports the 10:30 Mass at the parish church through liturgical dance, music and readings.

North Herts Sanctuary

Our Lady pupils have a harvest assembly and our pupils donate dried and tinned food that the sanctuary say is most useful for their homeless people.

Family Support Workers

Irene Bamberough attends our coffee mornings, Parent Consultation Evenings and various other occasions. They are available to talk to parents and offer support and guidance to parents alerting them to all the varied activities and groups that are available in the community.

Christmas School Box Appeal

Every year our pupils make up shoeboxes of toys, stationery and gloves, hats, scarves and sweets for Eastern European children.
We donate 50+ boxes each year. We will be collecting shoeboxes for this Christmas and dates for this will be announced closer to the time.
