PE and Sport Premium Funding 2018 - 2019

We are expecting a sports grant of £18200 for 2018/2019. This money will be ring-fenced for funding projects relating to sport and activity. We subscribe to the local Sports Partnership which allows us entry to all local sporting competitions and events. We are currently looking into employing a sports apprentice to assist with the P.E provision in school and also offer more clubs. A portion of the funding will also be used to upskill our staff through training and workshops. We have signed up to the Youth Sports trust. We have also used some of the funding to get new sports equipment. The Sports Grant also allows the school to employ a specialist PE leader for 3 days per week.

In 2017/2018 we received a grant of £17880 and the money was used to fund our membership of the local Sports Partnership along with various PE equipment and also towards a specialist PE leader for two days a week.

In 2016/2017 we received a grant of £8940 and the money was used to fund our membership of the local Sports Partnership along with various PE equipment and also towards a specialist PE teacher for two days a week and a specialist PE teaching assistant.

In 2015/2016 we received a grant of £8940 and the money was used to fund a specialist PE teacher for two days a week and specialist PE teaching assistants.

In 2014/2015 we received a grant of £8930 and the money was used to fund a specialist PE teacher for two days a week and specialist PE teaching assistants.
