PE and Sport Premium Funding

We are expecting a sports grant of £17880 for 2017/2018. This money will be ringfenced for funding projects relating to sport and activity. We subscribe to the local Sports Partnership which allows us entry to all local sporting competitions and events, this costs £1,645. We have purchased two sets of goals and had a second football pitch marked on our field. We are currently researching new equipment for the KS1 playground. A portion of the funding will also be used to upskill our staff through training and workshops. The Sports Grant also allows the school to employ a specialist PE teaching assistant for two days per week.

In 2016/2017 we received a grant of £8940 and the money was used to fund our membership of the local Sports Partnership along with various PE equipment and also towards a specialist PE teacher for two days a week and a specialist PE teaching assistant.

In 2015/2016 we received a grant of £8940 and the money was used to fund a specialist PE teacher for two days a week and specialist PE teaching assistants.

In 2014/2015 we received a grant of £8930 and the money was used to fund a specialist PE teacher for two days a week and specialist PE teaching assistants.
