General Information
Coffee Mornings
We have regular coffee mornings at the school. Irene Bamberough and Amy Ward, our school Family Workers, attend these coffee mornings and bring along lots of interesting and useful leaflets. The information they bring can be about free play activities for out of school hours, courses for parents and leaflets about being healthy.
These are friendly informal coffee mornings in which parents can meet other parents and "chat" about their children and the school. It would be lovely to see parents there.
The dates for this term are:
Thursday 21st January at 9.00am
Wednesday 3rd March 9.10am
Irene will also be attending the Parent Consultation Evenings on Wednesday 10th and Thursday 11th February between 4-6pm. Join her for a cup of coffee and browse through her array of useful and supportive information about activities in the locality.

Birthday Treats
To help promote our ‘Healthy School’ status if, and there is no compulsion, parents want to bring in some treat for the class in celebration of their child’s birthday, then it is to be a book, instead of sweets. This book could be new or one in good condition. The teacher will put a special label inside commemorating the event and acknowledging the donation. This book will be read and enjoyed by the class and longer lasting as a birthday treat! I hope you will support us on this idea.
