OFSTED Report 2022
Our Lady Catholic Primary School celebrates Ofsted success
We are thrilled to announce that we are celebrating after praise from Ofsted following an inspection in July 2022, which found us to be a ‘Good’ school. Our school has been judged as ‘Good’ across every category, clearly demonstrating the high quality of education which is taking place on a daily basis.
The glowing report outlines that we offer a ‘broad curriculum that develops interest and curiosity’ and that pupils ‘are polite and respectful’.
Ofsted said: ‘Pupils’ personal development is supported well through the curriculum and the wider opportunities that are available, such as sport and music. Pupils learn to keep themselves and others safe, including online. Pupils learn about different cultures, their traditions and beliefs. Pupils learn to respect each other’s differences and celebrate diversity.’
Sarah Snowball, Headteacher at Our Lady Catholic Primary School, said:
“I have watched our community school go from strength to strength and am very pleased to see it recognised by Ofsted. Our young people are thriving and together, our school community is a welcoming, friendly group to be a part of. We’re proud to be an inclusive school and it’s wonderful to see Ofsted celebrating our commitment to helping young people with special educational needs and disabilities to flourish, and dedication to ensuring children learn about difference cultures.
“I would like to thank the fantastic teaching teams who have worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic to deliver improvements that ensure our school community thrives; our determined young people who continue to be a credit to the school; and our supportive families.”
Our Lady Catholic Primary School has places available and is offering tours to families, with the opportunity to visit the school’s facilities and meet teachers. To arrange a tour contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
